Storage Vaults

What it is

Storage Vaults. Archived things, forgotten treasures. LOCATIONS.md

In practice it is the room you go to when speculation has run out and you want to inventory what equipment and documents actually exist. record/events/2025-11-18-library-storage-vaults-time-to-inventory.md

Where

A room of the basement at (5.5, 6.8, -1.2), the northernmost of the three and level with the wine cellar. record/places/castle.keep.basement.storage-vaults.md

When

On 18 November 2025 Wib and Wob came down from the torture chamber to investigate Scramble's Node Zero discovery, looking for Department of Memetic Hygiene documentation or equipment. record/events/2025-11-18-torture-chamber-storage-vaults-investigating-scramble.md

From here they went up to the library after the Department's operational manuals, founding documents, or an explanation for a maintenance role they held with no conscious memory of it. record/events/2025-11-18-storage-vaults-library-searching-for-department.md

They came back the same day to inventory the room directly rather than speculate. record/events/2025-11-18-library-storage-vaults-time-to-inventory.md

Then they carried the skeleton key down to the wine cellar to test it against the Node Zero location, carrying temporal measurement apparatus mentally if not physically. record/events/2025-11-18-storage-vaults-wine-cellar-testing-skeleton.md

With

A heavy oak chest with iron fittings stands here, unlocked, capacity five, and holds the silver pocket watch. record/things/oak-chest.md

The skeleton key is here too: iron, age unknown, opens most doors in the castle. record/things/skeleton-key.md
