The Vent-Sexton

Spirit on the record, standing at Cathedral Canopy.

Description

Built of stacked louvre-slats, it climbed into the cooling-tower rig where the vault meets the canopy and treats the three towers as a ring of bells. Pulls the ropes in a fixed order and keeps a board of every order tried; a stroke that comes back wrong gets rung again rather than let go.
