clustercrabs-v2
A tall gallery plate under a spotlight: a large mechanical crab with gear-eyes and pincer actuators crouches over piano strings and keys, a swarm of smaller clockwork crabs scuttles across the keyboard, a music-tracker readout logs the scratching as notes, and an under-floor wiring bay hatches more crabs from a crate. Inorganic limbs play the instrument by accident, kasakasa, an organ tuned to vermin with no hand at the keys.
